In Holy Potatoes! A Weapon Shop?! you play as a potato that has inherited a forge. You’ll need to make, and, more importantly sell weapons, all while building a reputation, which is no easy task. Imagine: you’ll need to hire, train, and manage your 30 employees, as well as meeting 70 characters who are supposed to buy your goods... all without forgetting to feed the dog! It’s a comprehensive management game that doesn’t take itself too seriously.

For example, you’ll meet a doctor (Who?) who travels through time in a phone box, “potatomon” fights, and an Indiana Jones chapter. The game is also filled with racy puns that would make Borat blush.

If you like the sound of this game world, and it’s likely that you will, given the production value seen here, you can continue your adventure with Holy Potatoes! A Spy Story?! This story is about two heroes, twins, called Ren and Rexa. They want to open a spy agency in memory of their parents who are missing in action. In addition to managing the missions, you’ll need to grow your “company” by building training centres, a gadget factory (think Q), and plenty more buildings. Yet again, the game is packed with references, like the spy Super Maria whose outfit and name are a nod to Super Mario, and Agent 700, brother of James Bond 007.
