A hilarious pixel art Point and Click mystery game where you play as an unlikely duo of detectives! When he inherits a Domestic Robot with a scathing wit, Inspector Case finds out that a dastardly crime has been committed at the Hotel Lisbon: a man has committed suicide by 14 stabs in the back.

If justice moves slowly, it’s probably because it likes to hit the bottle. But Inspector Case had promised to stay on the wagon! But when he wakes up with yet another raging hangover, he receives a delivery to his office that will change his life!

Inside is a very special Domestic Robot 9000. A bit of a clown, it’s never short of a gag. And even if you aren’t in the mood for it, the audience loves it.

Especially that lady down there in the front row! And so you decide to christen it, "Clown Bot". In addition to a bottomless reserve of jokes, this robot can polish shoes, make beds, and solve criminal cases!

This last option might come in handy to you, because you’ve just been informed of a death at the Hotel Lisbon. The victim is one Sebastian Love, aged 42. As you might have guessed, this is a "complex" case: Love was found dead having been stabbed in the back 14 times while he was quietly enjoying his morning coffee!

The local police ruled it a suicide, but you can’t shake off the thought that it might just be a murder.

Detective Case and Clown Bot in: Murder in the Hotel Lisbon is a Point & Click mystery game developed by Portuguese studio Nerd Monkeys.

In case you don’t know, that’s the same studio that brought us the excellent Out of Line! On this adventure that’s as far out as it is pixelated, you play as Inspector Case in a piece of live theatre (playable in English or Portuguese)!

The story is divided into acts, and is played in single-player. It’s filled with cutting dialogue and a deliciously jazzy soundtrack. As for the case, you’ll need to keep your cool and concentrate, which is no mean feat between all the red herrings and Clown Bot’s constant one-liners.

Your first task, then, will be to rummage through the furniture or inspect highlighted items using your magic cursor! With a bit of logical thinking and a keen nose, you’ll soon be unearthing important clues.

These items can then be used during interrogations to obtain information or crack a suspect!

But then you need to ask the right questions… But because it looks like you’re the only competent cops in town, you may as well take it seriously!
