The wild animals are threatened by an infamous poacher, so you decide to set off on a safari to rescue them and give them a new home. You’ll also need to create magical enclosures and keep visitors happy. A great "first management game" for newbies to the genre.

It’s now or never! Wonder Zoo: Animal Rescue lets you play as an animal lover who’s as brave as they are responsible. Because when your aim is to enrich your zoo with the finest specimens of global wildlife and extraordinary creatures, you can’t just do it willy-nilly. You have to take your jeep and set off on safari!

Armed with food and an airlift cage, you’re there to save these animals from the clutches of the worst species out there: a poacher! And even though this heinous individual was once your colleague, you’re more the type to help injured or starving animals rather than trying to sell their hides to the highest bidder.

Once you’ve got the animals back to your sanctuary, you’ll have to build them a suitable enclosure that reflects their natural habitat. And no, a bit of string to hold back a couple of lions isn’t quite going to cut it. But as long as you remember to feed them every day and treat them with love, you’ll have nothing to fear!

Wonder Zoo: Animal Rescue is a 3D isometric management sim from Gameloft that would make a good "first management game" for newcomers to the genre.

And with good reason, thanks to its gameplay that’s quick and easy to pick up, and similar to a point & click game.

Basically, all you have to do is click on an enclosure to interact with the animals or pick up coins and experience hearts, or the ground to control the movement of your jeep when out on expedition. The game’s interface is clear and the quest system lets you start making progress straight away. And like all big zoos, you’ll also need to keep your visitors happy!

In addition to food stands, souvenir shops, and toilets, you can also bring over a dozen legendary species to your zoo, like the Unicorn, Yeti, and Loch Ness Monster, to name but a few! You can also breed your own hybrid animals and even dinosaurs!
