You know Warhammer? Of course you do: those little figurines to paint yourself and march to war against your friends. Welcome to the world of Warhammer: Chaosbane, where the hordes of Chaos will suffer your wrath.

Based on the famous tabletop game, Warhammer: Chaosbane is a hack ‘n’ slash action-RPG. What does that mean? It’s a dynamic role playing game where you hack away at swathes of enemies in real time, earning experience points for your character. Warhammer: Chaosbane transports you to the year 2301, where you are tasked with stopping a Chaos invasion of the Old World.
Called into battle by the emperor Magnus, you can play as a soldier of the Empire, an elven archer, a High-Elf mage, or a lethal dwarf.

Not really designed for the youngest players, Warhammer: Chaosbane is sure to please fans of the genre who care about the details. You’ll need to develop your active and passive skills in defence and attack, and choose from the 180 different skills available to you. When it comes to enemies, the bestiary has been given a boost with 70 monsters, each more dangerous than the last.

If you’re really in the mood for a fight, try playing in Bloodthirsty mode: it’ll scratch that itch. Don’t forget to explore every corner of the truly huge Warhammer universe to be sure not to miss a legendary sword or other rare items.

New players will find it an excellent outlet for their violent tendencies, and who knows? You might even come across Henry Cavill (Superman, The Witcher) in Warhammer: Chaosbane’s online mode: he’s an unabashed fan!
