Tyler: Model 005
Let there be light!
A 3D action-platformer where you play as a little robot lost in his maker’s mansion! Explore the darkest corners of a world that’s much too big for you, and switch on every light source you find. The aim? To stay alive long enough to solve the mystery of your creation!
Tyler: Model 005
Lightning can sometimes cause strange things to happen. If it strikes a tree, there’s a good chance it will reduce it to ashes. But if it strikes Dr. Frankenstein’s castle or, by chance, the residence of Tyler’s maker, there’s a good chance it will bring something (back) to life!
And this is how our little robot wakes up with no memories, one fine evening in 1955, in a dilapidated abandoned mansion. All of the lights are off, which is a shame as that’s the only way to recharge your batteries! Powered by any kind of light source, Tyler’s battery has the annoying habit of running down in the blink of an eye.
Your first steps, then, will lead you towards a window, lamp, or candle, that you can use as an "anchor point" before setting off into the dark. If you search carefully, you’ll find loads of interesting items and light sources to turn on everywhere you go.
Natural ladders, made of shelves and boxes, will also let you climb a bit higher for a better view. After all, you’re just a tiny robot lost and alone in a giant’s world!
Tyler: Model 005 is a 3D action-platformer and exploration game developed by Reversed Interactive.
Playable in single-player, it is easy to master and demands only a bit of skill and a lot of curiosity! Feel free, then, to explore the game world by climbing up any surface that seems accessible, and enjoy its superfluid gameplay.
It’s very straightforward: as soon as a movement or interaction becomes possible, a button symbol appears on your screen. Your adorable little 005 can also be customised with any accessories you find. But to really give your adventure a boost, you’ll need to wander over to a table at the other end of the hall where you start the game, and find the little "upgrade portal".
With it, you will be able to upgrade your skills and abilities, like your energy consumption, exploration ability, speed, and your "blade"!
But to do so, you’ll need to collect the only currency that exists in the world of robots: nuts and bolts!
What’s more, you almost certainly aren’t the only robot made by your maker, and some other machines might just have the answers to all of your questions...
