It’s up to you to tactically plan for your races to stop any breakaways, or to make a break for it yourself if you want to reach the Champs-Elysées with the yellow jersey on your back!

Tour de France 2020 is a racing game from Cyanide that lies halfway between an arcade racer and a racing sim, and should have plenty to keep the most ardent MAMIL happy thanks to its specialist, varied content. Pro Leader mode, for example lets you manage every aspect of your own character’s career, from his look, to his personality, and his preferred kind of racing. Tour de France 2020 also lets you switch to a first person camera, so that you can experience the race through the eyes of your favourite cyclist.

And if you’re more of a manager at heart, you can always opt for Pro Team mode, controlling all of the riders in your team and managing their tactics, fatigue, and recruitment, to reach the very top of the rankings.

To top it all off, in addition to the 21 official stages in the Tour de France, the game lets you try out other cycling classics, like Paris-Roubaix, Paris-Nice, the Critérium du Dauphiné, or even “The Old Lady” herself: Liège-Bastogne-Liège and its 266km of pure pain!
