The heart of the game rests on an effective triptych. First, exploration of a visually polished post-apocalyptic open world, where every ruined building and devastated zone holds resources, secrets and dangers. Then, the management and expansion of your base, which evolves through the game and determines what equipment is available to you. The developers have crafted their apocalypse carefully: vegetation reclaims the urban rubble, zones near the impact glow with a strange and unsettling light, and the soundtrack oscillates between oppressive tension and moments of deceptive calm.
