Super Catboy

Super Catboy is an action-packed platformer created in a high-bit pixel art style, combining the best elements of the golden 16-bit platformer era of the 90s with some ‘pawsome’ new mechanics! And let’s not forget; there’s plenty of CAT CONTENT!

Super Catboy is a 2D platformer inspired by the classics of the 16-bit era. You play as an agile cat who can run, jump, climb, slide and attack enemies along the way.

Levels combine platforming, hidden routes, collectibles and varied opponents. The pace moves between exploration and action, with environments that reward checking high ledges and side paths. Pixel art and cartoon-like animation give the game a playful retro identity.

We loved: The movement. Running, bouncing and chaining actions creates a strong sense of agility.

We liked: The classic platforming inspiration. Levels are readable while still hiding enough detours to reward exploration.

Our favorite part: Super Catboy himself. His animation and attacks give a familiar formula plenty of personality.

Our tip to help you: Look above and below the main route. Use climbing and sliding to check hidden passages, and avoid rushing at enemies when the ground is narrow. Jump precision is often more important than speed.
