N.O.V.A. 3 is a science-fiction FPS following Kal Wardin through an interplanetary war. After years in exile, he answers a distress call and finds himself at the center of a conflict between humans and the Volterites.
The campaign moves between station exploration, firefights against soldiers and encounters with alien creatures. You have futuristic weapons, grenades and abilities that let you change your approach. Vehicles and more open environments add mobile set pieces to an adventure built around action.
We loved: The scale of the adventure. Space stations and large battles give the game a strong science-fiction spectacle.
We liked: The range of weapons. Switching between primary weapons, sidearms and explosives helps you adapt to distance and enemy resistance.
Our favorite part: The vehicle sections. They change the pace and offer a different view of the environments.
Our tip to help you: Use cover and change weapons according to distance. Save grenades for groups or protected enemies, and check your ammunition before entering a new area. When enemies attack from several directions, keep moving instead of locking onto a single target.
