Edna & Harvey: Harvey's New Eyes
Discover this Point and Click game where your job is to care for the spirit of a very special girl! In this sequel to Edna & Harvey: The Breakout, you play as Lilli, one of Edna’s just as quirky friends, and have to defeat the evil Mother Superior Ignatz and the inhuman Dr. Marcel. It’s a battle waged through a series of puzzles that you’ll have to rely on your brains to solve!
When it comes to mental health, more than anything, things aren’t always what they seem to be. This is certainly true of Lilli, an adorable, reserved little girl with golden hair and an air of innocence, who hides an imagination full of cynicism and black humour. A secondary character in the first Edna & Harvey game (you should play the series in order), this great friend of Edna’s is now living in a convent governed with an iron fist by Mother Superior Ignatz.
Initially forced to go without any help from Harvey, the stuffed rabbit that Dr Marcel transformed into a hypnosis machine, Lilli needs you to overcome her psychological blocks brought on by “extreme therapy”. From puzzle to puzzle, she’ll take you along the winding roads of her subconscious that’s a weird but deliciously funny place. And just one look at the little potato-shaped monsters painting corpses in blushing pink lets you know that there’s a lot of work to be done!
Edna & Harvey: Harvey's New Eyes is a single player 2D Point & Click game. Developed by Daedelic Entertainment, it’s aimed at any fan of games that require brains, are full of black humour, and that have fantastical storylines.
Stuck in the gears of a giant puzzle, accompanied by a series of increasingly crazy characters, you’ll need to keep a cool head and use your powers of deduction if you’re to tell true from false. Over the course of your adventure, you’ll also find all kinds of items hidden in the most unlikely places.
Once they’re in your inventory, they will prove vital to solving puzzles and riddles. If a puzzle has you stuck, why not try combining items to create something new that might do the trick?
One last tip, for when you’re really at a loss: try to remember the many clues hidden in the dialogue and the words of the narrator, which are as dark as they are hilarious. It’s no mean feat!
