A faithful video game adaptation of the Tim Burton and Lewis Carroll universe.

Alice in Wonderland has always had its fans and its detractors, whether we’re talking about Lewis Carroll’s book or Tim Burton’s animation. Its fans will love this game from start to finish.

We loved its darker side, in black and white, with its flashes of bright colours in the cat’s tail, etc. The land of the White Queen is eye-poppingly incredible, and another of its good ideas is to use a camera to open multi-coloured chests: a truly original idea!

Just remember that you won’t get to play as Alice, but as four other characters: McTwist, the white rabbit; Absolem, the caterpillar; the Cheshire cat; and the Mad Hatter.

The rabbit can stop and rewind time, the caterpillar can manipulate gravity in certain areas of the game, the Cheshire cat can cause objects to appear or disappear, while the Mad Hatter can alter perception.

As for Alice, well... she can’t do anything! The only way you get to see the Game Over screen is if Alice gets captured, because if you lose all of your life hearts, your character will be revived with just one remaining! That’s right: they’re invincible!

The characters are all really well-designed and it’s a joy to use their special abilities. The combat and puzzles aren’t too challenging, but the game has a reasonable play-time if you want to get 100% completion (getting all of the chests and armour, completing all the puzzles, etc.).

With graphics that are a cross between Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas and Beetlejuice, gameplay that’s simple but effective, and a soundtrack taken from the film, here, the developers Etrange Libellule are bringing you an original game that we loved for its fantasy graphics.
