Detective Case and Clown Bot in: The Express Killer

A Point and Click game where you’ll be doing some babysitting while you solve a crime! This time, yours is the fiendish task of catching a serial killer aboard the Lisbon-Porto train, all while looking after a really annoying kid… Just as funny as the first game.

It looks like the streets of Portugal are a dangerous place to be. And apparently so is the public transport!

After your last adventure at the Hotel Lisbon, Portugal’s crime rate has not shown any signs of letting up. Quite the contrary! A serial killer known as the Express Killer has been spotted on the train from Lisbon to Porto. It’s hard to miss him, as he is killing one passenger every day!

With the local police overwhelmed, this tricky case has fallen to the least serious detectives in the world: Inspector Case and Clown Bot! And as if things weren’t complicated enough, Officer Garcia had the bright idea of giving you his annoying little boy, Billy, to look after! So here you are in a train-shaped nightmare filled with passengers who are all varying degrees of weird.

But as you question them one by one, you’ll create a profile of the killer, then a list of suspects, and finally make your arrest! At least, you will if little Billy will stop getting on your nerves for just one second!

Once again developed by Portuguese studio Nerd Monkeys, Detective Case and Clown Bot in: The Express Killer is the sequel to Detective Case and Clown Bot in: Murder in the Hotel Lisbon.

But the developers behind this Point & Click detective game say there’s no need to have played the first game before you get stuck into the second.

Its colourful 2D Pixel Art world is the same as ever, as is its zany "theatre play" atmosphere, with the audience as wild as ever.

And of course, your investigation and interrogations are littered with plenty of dubious gags. But what do you expect? Clown Bot is addicted to applause!

If you use your cursor to examine every inch of the train, you’ll be able to interact with characters and pick up plenty of evidence. Just remember that every detail counts and some parts of the investigation can only be unlocked by solving all kinds of puzzles.

For example, you’ll need to find 29 tiny teeth (little white pixels…) scattered throughout the train to complete just one mini-game! So keep your eyes peeled if you’re to have any hope of catching the fearsome Express Killer!
