This platformer/Metroidvania immerses you in a crazy world with outlandish physics! Play as Dandara, a character who neither walks nor runs: instead, she teleports around, packing explosive strategy in every jump. Explore a pixel art world made in Brazil, battle ferocious enemies and unlock amazing abilities on an odyssey that reinvents the whole 2D platformer genre.

Here we have far more than just another platform game, a metroidvania where gravity is out for lunch. You'll be playing as Dandara, an intrepid heroine who leaps like a kangaroo to save this pixellated world inspired by Brazil. Forget all about walking and running: here it's all about jumping. And leaping. And then jumping again. Every movement is a dance, and you're the choreographer of a chaotic ballet where every platform might be a trap (or a nice surprise, but we thought a trap added a bit more suspense).

Our favourite part? How Dandara turns the simple act of jumping into an artform. Each leap becomes a new adventure, and every enemy you defeat is like winning gold at the platform game Olympics! The need to think before you leap and adapt to the game's unconventional mechanics is both refreshing and stimulating.

We also particularly liked Dandara's artistic direction. The pixel art graphics are a beauty to behold. The vibrant environments, like those you'll find in The Temple of The City, as well as the soundtrack, create a unique atmosphere that immersed us in its ethereal world.

Our tip to help you on your way? The illuminated platforms are your friend. These pretty surfaces aren't just there for decoration! Use them as launchpads for your jumps. In The Sanctuary, for example, you can use them to reach hidden areas where you'll find bonuses (and ammo for your jumps). But you didn't hear it from us!

Who will enjoy this game? This is one for every adventurer, aged 12 to 112! Whether you're a metroidvania pro, or you've just put on your stripy socks for the very first time, this game packs a challenge that will make you smile (or scream, depending on the moment). Taking around 10 hours to complete, it's perfect for gaming alone or for having a laugh with friends.
