Atlas Fallen: Reign Of Sand takes you into a desert world ruled by the corrupted god Thelos. You play as an unnamed character who discovers an ancient gauntlet and the ability to shape the essence of sand. Alongside Nya, you must free local inhabitants, explore ruins and bring down the Wraiths controlling the region.

The game combines fast traversal, vertical exploration and battles against giant monsters. The gauntlet lets you surf across sand, leap through the air and create platforms. In combat, attacks fill an Momentum gauge that unlocks stronger powers, while also making you more exposed to enemy attacks.

The Reign Of Sand edition expands the experience with new enemies, additional quests, progression changes, quality-of-life improvements and denser endgame content. The exact package may depend on the edition delivered through Blacknut, but the core remains an action adventure built around desert traversal and hunting colossal creatures.

We loved: The feeling of surfing across the dunes. Movement is as important to exploration as it is to combat.

We liked: The Wraith encounters. Studying a creature, targeting vulnerable parts and choosing when to commit gives the battles a satisfying hunting rhythm.

Our favorite part: The Momentum system. It rewards aggression while forcing you to monitor your exposure, keeping fights active and tense.

Our tip to help you: Watch your Momentum gauge and alternate powerful attacks with evasive movement. Target a Wraith's vulnerable limbs instead of striking at random. During exploration, use surfing and the double jump to check high ledges, ruins and side paths.
