APICO is a laid-back beekeeping sim game about breeding, collecting, & conserving bees! Set in a series of lush environments, APICO uniquely combines resource gathering, biology, and beekeeping minigames, taking ideas from a mix of real-life and fantasy apiculture & floriculture.

APICO is a beekeeping and conservation simulation set in Port APICO, where your character returns to the family home. You gather resources, craft equipment, build hives and learn how to breed different bee species and other pollinators.

Progress combines genetics, production and nature restoration. Bees can be studied, cross-bred and released to repopulate lost species. Flowers, habitats and production chains reward gradual organization, while exploration opens new biomes and quests.

We loved: The connection between management and conservation. Honey production is not an isolated goal, it also helps restore the islands' ecosystems.

We liked: The pressure-free pace. Early quests can provide direction, but you are free to explore, decorate or expand your apiary at your own speed.
