A-Men 2 brings back the series' five soldiers and sends them into four new worlds filled with A-Droids, traps and mechanisms. Each level asks you to eliminate the required enemies, manipulate the environment and get the team to the extraction point.
The Commando, Private, Muscleman, Engineer and Spy each have their own tools. Grappling, construction, moving crates, stealth, explosives and machines can be combined to open a route. Several solutions may be possible, but action order remains crucial, since a move made too early can force a restart.
We loved: The depth of the combinations. The five classes give every level a strong puzzle-solving dimension, even in a solo game.
We liked: The new traps and mechanisms. Switches, TNT, generators, saws, flamethrowers and falling crates make the environment as important as the enemies.
Our favorite part: The feeling of solving a complex machine. When every soldier acts at the right time, the solution looks obvious, but finding it can take several attempts.
Our tip to help you: Survey the whole area before activating a switch or explosive. Think through the consequences of each action and save the station for a genuinely difficult sequence. Plan around class combinations rather than isolated moves.
Who is this game for? A-Men 2 is aimed at players aged 12 and over who enjoy logic games, tactical platforming and levels that must be replayed to understand the right sequence. Sessions are short, but the difficulty is high. It is a good fit for players who enjoy experimenting, observing and mastering a solution rather than rushing.
