Live life like Thing from the Addams Family! This is a platformer with a unique gameplay mechanic that sees you play as a disembodied hand as it crawls though complex levels on its fingertips. It all starts off easy enough with a wall to climb, but the levels soon get much tougher, providing a great challenge for speedrunners.

If you're a fan of Wednesday and the rest of the Addams Family, you'll feel right at home here. As will fans of the animated movie, I Lost My Body, because here you'll be playing as a hand as it makes its way over a variety of obstacles on its quest to find the arm to which it belongs.

We lovedthe polished intro cutscene at the start of the game: it's worthy of the best animated movies out there, and plunges you into the story of a hand that's suddenly trapped and attacked by a band of feet. The scene marks the beginning of your adventure, with a somewhat painful awakening for our protagonist.

Using your five fingers as legs – like some kind of spider – you'll be jumping and sliding, avoiding obstacles and grabbing onto the environment to make your way, all while collecting keys to unlock secret passages. It’s more of an obstacle race against the clock than a game about combat with enemies, and there's nobody else there to give you a hand...

Our favourite part? The hand physics which bring a challenge all of their own. When you jump, for example, you might end up jumping too far due to how light the hand is, demanding precision movement if you're to avoid a fall. You can also grab on to different surfaces like walls, shelves, and even things like boxes of Pringles and video tapes. And always remember that every object reacts with its own physics: video tapes might slip or fall and bins can open and close. The game's physics all add up to plenty of dynamic interactions, so try not to be too heavy-handed.
The polished environments are a hand-drawn masterpiece.

Our tip to help you on your way? If you fall, always try to grab onto the environment with your fingers. You'll be able to climb back up and finish the level.
